Kate is a model I've worked with a handful of times, but this particular shoot came together very last minute. Without a lot of time to prepare, I chose simple classic lighting setups, such as the low-key lighting used in this set.

Technical Details

The key light in all of these shots was a 600 watt second studio strobe with a 34" beauty dish with grid fired at ⅛ power and positioned very close to the model. The top row of images used a second 400 watt second studio light at ¼ power on an overhead boom that was pointed at the background behind the model. All of these were shoot between 𝒇8 and 𝒇10 at 1/250s.
